Focus of the session was to increase his hips ability to stabilize in all 3 planes when running. The band is there to help him get used to driving through his hips (this one π₯π₯π₯ so get ready for some punishment lol) . The 2nd exercise is designed to train hip extension in conjunction with opposing hip flexion. I added a few mods to it but the base exercise is commonly used by pro running athletes .
